Only team that can win form here is India but for that too happen they need wickets early in the 1st session and some quick runs from Sehwag and Gambhir to get a reasonable lead before team India feels comfortable to declare.

There is no way England can win this match from here on but India can win if they manage to pick wickets early. Winning is far for England but they can manage a draw if they play cautiously and waste as much time as they can.
All eyes will be on Zaheer and Ishant to provide breakthrough in early overs from Indian point of view and for England they need a good opening partnership to see through 1st session to provide a platform for them to fancy any chances. All in all 1st session is important for both the teams.

Match started 30 mins early to compensate lost overs for yesterday and if light remains good it might end also 30 mins late. Anyways India has just lost one wicket on day 1 and it still remains unclear who dominated the game yesterday, thanks to poor runrate by India. If England manage to pick wickets early, then match will swing towards them or if India manage to score at good rate and add 300-350 runs today , then India will have upper hand but if India continue to play the same way then we are all set for a draw here.

Thanks to Sehwag, Sachin and Yuvraj, India 1-0 up in 2 match test series and all they need is a win or draw here in this match to win the series. Only concern for Dhoni is Dravid who is struggling to find form for almost an year by now and most likely they will go with same team. Two spinners did not work for Englishmen and they may stick to their standard 1 spinner foruma. They need to win this match at any cost other series will be India’s.

After watching Day 2 and Day 3, I kind of thought England will win this easily and if at all something has to stop them it has to be Sehwag and he almost did the job but still lot left and now it will be upto the rest to stand tell and play for victory.
I think Dravid should hold the wicket on one end while others play their natural game and if they manage to play till the end then they automatically win.
All out of form English players suddenly seem to be back in form which is hurting India badly. With every run added to English scorecard, chances of winning for team India are disappearing.
England already got a lead of 247 and most likely they will reach 350 with Flintoff, Prior still to come, which means India may depend on Sehwag for winning or switch tactics and defend to draw.
Dhoni is yet to lose/draw a test match as a captain. He hasn’t captained much but yeah not a good start for fulltime captain.
Well match has swung from India to England and at end of day 2 England on top and if they manage to pick couple of early wickets, they will have good chance to win the match as well.

England have played exceptionally well in 1st session but they let that advantage go in 2nd session and importantly final session which turned out to be turning point. Not an easy pitch for bowlers but I think they did a great job restricting runrate through out the game.
